
Lukas Cormier Signs Three-Year Entry Level Contract with Vegas Golden Knights

2020 ended off on a high note for Charlottetown Islanders defenseman Lukas Cormier.
Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced today, December 31, that the team has signed Cormier to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Cormier was a third-round pick (68th overall) of the Golden Knights in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. He is currently in the midst of his third season with the Islanders, having already collected seven goals and 21 points in 13 games. The Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, New Brunswick native currently leads all QMJHL defensemen in points during the 2020-21 season. He recently took part in Hockey Canada's World Junior Selection Camp prior to the 2021 World Junior Championships.
