Wednesday, DEVILS 4 vs. River Rats 3
Jordan Parise made 37 saves and the Devils scored three times in the third period to come from behind and defeat the Albany River Rats 4-3. Dan LaCouture lit the lamp twice for Lowell, including the game winner midway through the final stanza.
Friday, Devils 3 vs. RIVER RATS 1
The Devils scored three times in the span of 3:10 during the first period, and held on for a 3-1 victory in Albany. Lowell swept the home-and-home series, and finished the season series knotted at 2-2. Frank Doyle picked up the win, stopping 32 of 33 Rats shots.
Saturday, WOLF PACK 3 vs. Devils 2, SO
The Hartford Wolf Pack erased a 2-0 first period deficit and eventually prevailed, 3-2, in the shootout Saturday night. Petr Vrana and Nicklas Bergfors scored in a dominant opening frame for the Devils, but the Wolf Pack notched a goal in the second and the third periods to tie it up after regulation. Hartford outscored the Devils 2-1 in the extra session to take the win and remain undefeated in shootouts this season.
Sunday, Devils 5 vs. BRUINS 2
The Devils wrapped up the weekend with a convincing 5-2 victory in Providence over the Bruins. Dan LaCouture recorded his second ! multiple-goal effort on Sunday, and added two assists for a four-point night. Olivier Magnan, Tuomas Pihlman (shorthanded) and David Clarkson (empty net) also scored for the Devils, who improved to 5-0-0-1 in their last six road games.
In the standings
The Devils pushed ahead of the Worcester Sharks for sole possession of fourth place in the Atlantic Division standings, making up their game in hand. Both clubs have 15 games remaining. Lowell also climbed within three points of third-place Providence with the win on Sunday.
Roster Changes
The New Jersey Devils assigned D Alex Brooks to Lowell on Saturday, and he returned to the lineup that night. It was the first game for Brooks in two months, having been sidelined since last playing for New Jersey in January.
Coming Up
The Devils host three games this week, starting with Wednesday night against the Springfield Falcons in the final home game of the season series. Game time is 7:05 p.m. On Friday, the Devils host the Portland Pirates, who trail the Devils in the Atlantic Division standings by just five points. Five of the Devils remaining 15 games are against Portland. Sunday afternoon the Devils host the Hartford Wolf Pack at 4:05 p.m. Af! ter the game there will be a team autograph session and a public skate, free to everyone in attendance.

Around the Horns
D Andy Greene, who represented the Lowell Devils at the 2007 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic in January, scored his first NHL goal on March 8th, in a 4-3 shootout victory for New Jersey at Pittsburgh.
Friday in Albany the Devils matched their season-high road winning streak with their fourth in a row dating from February 18 "" March 9.
C Petr Vrana recorded a point in three straight games (2g-1a-3pts) from March 7 "" 10.
Lowell has finished their schedule against non-divisional opponents. They racked up a 10-9-2-1 record against teams from the East Division, including a 7-2-2-0 record on home ice against those clubs. They held a narrow scoring edge, 69-68.
D Olivier Magnan scored his first AHL goal on Sunday in Providence. He has played 12 games since being reassigned to Lowell from Trenton (ECHL).
LW Dan LaCouture has five goals in the last five games, including a pair of multi-goal efforts.
