Wednesday, Monarchs 3 vs. DEVILS 1
The Devils opened up the scoring with a first period goal by Aaron Voros and led 1-0 after the opening frame. But visiting Manchester reeled off three straight tallies, including a pair in the final frame, for the win. Jason LaBarbera picked up the win, stopping 28 shots for the Monarchs.
Friday, ADMIRALS 4 vs. Devils 3
A breakaway by Carl Corazzini in the final minute of play yielded the game winning goal and spoiled a would-be comeback by the Devils in Norfolk. Patrick Davis and Andy Greene combined to erase a 3-1 deficit and tie the score in the third period. Corazzini's tally was his second of the game and his fourth in the two head-to-head meetings with Lowell.
Saturday, Devils 3 vs. PHANTOMS 1
Chris Minard scored twice and Tuomas Pihlman added a shorthanded goal to help the Devils post a 3-1 win in Philadelphia to close out 2006. After being outshot 14-6 in the opening period, Lowell outshot the Phantoms 23-14 over the remaining 40 minutes. Frank Doyle stopped 27 shots for the victory and added an assist on the Devils third period insurance tally.
