Lowe Named to MLS Team of the Week

Inter Miami CF defender Damion Lowe has been named to the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi for Week 26 of the 2022 MLS regular season. Lowe was chosen following a dominating defensive performance, as well as registering an assist, in a crucial win over Toronto FC at DRV PNK Stadium on Saturday night.

Lowe won five of his seven duels in the match and helped deny several Toronto forays into the attacking third, particularly in the latter stages of the match. In addition to his towering performance in defense, the Jamaican international captain registered his first MLS assist, cushioning a header back across the box to Ariel Lassiter for the winning goal to cap off a well-worked free kick routine.

This marks Lowe's fourth Team of the Week designation of the season, the most among Inter Miami players in 2022. The club has now had a representative, either player or coach, in the Team of the Week in 14 different weeks of the 2022 MLS regular season.
