Louisville City FC's Schedule Released

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky ( Monday, February 2, 2015) -- Louisville City FC, the new USL PRO team that will kick off its inaugural season on March 28th, announced its 28-game regular season schedule today, with the club playing 14 regular season home games at Louisville Slugger Field. Highlighted by the previously announced home opener on March 28th against fellow expansion club Saint Louis FC, Louisville City will also welcome five of last season's eight playoff teams, including 2014 USL PRO Finalists Harrisburg City Islanders, 2013 Regular Season Champions Richmond Kickers and 2012 USL PRO Champions Charleston Battery.

Season tickets for Louisville City's inaugural season are available now and can be purchased by visiting www.LouisvilleCityFC.com or by calling 502-384-8799. Ticket packages include 15 matches - 14 USL PRO regular season home games and one additional fixture (friendlies, Open Cup matches, etc.).

The deadline to become a Louisville City FC Founding Member, a one-time opportunity only offered this year, was extended to Friday, February 13th. As a Founding Member of the club, members will receive a season ticket, a Founding Member Scarf, exclusive access to team events, name on a plaque inside Louisville Slugger Stadium, discounts on merchandise and more.

"We are really pleased with our inaugural regular season schedule," said General Manager Amanda Duffy. "We look forward to hosting some of USL PRO's historically successful teams in the Rochester Rhinos, Richmond Kickers and Charleston Battery but will also see newcomers from MLS owned and operated clubs in Toronto FC II, FC Montreal and New York Red Bulls come to Louisville Slugger Field. Having the majority of our home games on Saturday evening will allow our fans to enjoy the complete game day experience that will be unique to any other sporting experience in this city."

Louisville City FC will play each of its conference opponents twice with two additional games against Saint Louis FC and one additional game against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. A two game home-and-home series with the Tulsa Roughnecks out of the Western Conference as well as one game against OKC Energy FC will round out the 28-game schedule.

All Louisville City FC games will stream live for free on YouTube and will be available on each team's YouTube channel shortly after each game's completion.
