Roughnecks Announce Complete Schedule

The Tulsa Roughnecks soccer schedule for their inaugural season in USL PRO has been released. As previously announced, the Roughnecks will mark the return of professional soccer to the city of Tulsa by hosting the Oklahoma City Energy at ONEOK Field on Saturday, March 28 in the first game of the 2015 season.

The campaign will consist of 28 total games with 14 home games in downtown Tulsa. The 14 games at ONEOK Field will include two visits from Oklahoma City. In addition, the USL PRO sides for five Major League Soccer clubs, the Seattle Sounders, Portland Timbers, Los Angeles Galaxy, Real Salt Lake and Vancouver Whitecaps, will visit Tulsa.

The home slate will open and end with the Energy, as Oklahoma City will provide the opposition for the final regular season game of the year on Sunday, September 6 at ONEOK Field.

The schedule begins with four straight home games, highlighted by three regional opponents. Following the opener with the Energy on March 28, the Roughnecks will host St. Louis FC on Thursday, April 2 in the only meeting of the year between the two teams. The Austin Aztex will visit ONEOK Field two days later on Saturday, April 4. The run of four straight home games will conclude with a match against Seattle Sounders 2 on Thursday, April 16.

The month of May will feature only one home game, a visit from Portland Timbers 2 on Saturday, May 30.

June will feature two home matches, while July and August will both include a trio of games at ONEOK Field before the regular season finale with the Energy on the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend.

The first four home matches for the Roughnecks will kick off at 7:00PM. Starting in May, all kickoff times at ONEOK Field will move to 7:30PM.

The 14-fixture away schedule for the Roughnecks will include games against each of the 11 other Western Conference teams plus an additional trip to Oklahoma City and an additional visit to Austin. The away slate will begin with a trip to Kentucky to play Louisville FC on April 24.
