Loudoun United FC Sign Midfielder Connor Presley

Loudoun United FC have acquired midfielder Connor Presley for the 2019 inaugural season pending league and federation approval.

"We are excited to add Connor to our core of players for the inaugural season," Richie Williams, Loudoun United FC Head Coach, said. "Connor is young and has two seasons of experience in the USL. He has showed a lot of promise in preseason scrimmages and we're hoping to get the best out of him at Loudoun United."

Presley is from Austin, Texas and joins Loudoun United after spending two seasons (2018-2019) with San Antonio FC in the USL Championship. He signed with San Antonio on Aug. 10, 2017 and appeared in six games before the close of the season. In two seasons with San Antonio, he scored once and recorded three assists in 29 appearances. He scored his first professional goal in the 3-1 win against Rio Grande Valley FC Toros on Aug. 30, 2018. Presley also made a substitute appearance in the 1-0 fourth round loss to FC Dallas in the the 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on June 7, 2018.

Starting his youth career with Lonestar SC in Texas, Presley joined the FC Dallas academy at 16-years-old. After three years in the academy, he signed with Nostell Miners Welfare F.C. in the Northern Counties East League Division One in England.
