Loshing, Desnoyers Power Cats to Road Win

The dynamic duo of Captain Yoan Loshing and rookie Caleb Desnoyers propelled the Wildcats to a 7-4 victory over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at Bathurst's KC Irving Centre on Wednesday night.
Loshing scored three goals - his 13th, 14th & 15th of the season - and added an assist while the rookie Desnoyers was equally impressive with a pair of tallies (6th, 7th) and an assist to earn First Star honors. Nova Scotia's Riley Sampson also netted his 1st QMJHL goal and the speedy Alex Mercier scored his 6th on a breakaway, as Moncton pulled away in the third period with three unanswered goals to snap a 4-4 tie.
Jacob Steinman made 30 saves to log the win and elevate the Cats to a 14-5-1-1 record. Moncton heads to Cape Breton for a Saturday night matchup with the Eagles at Centre 200.
