
Loren Foxx Hired as Vice President of Marketing

Manchester, NH- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, are pleased to announce that Loren Foxx has been hired as the team's Vice President of Marketing. Foxx, who most recently served as the General Manager of the Inland Empire 66ers (Advanced-A California League/Los Angeles Dodgers), brings seven years of Minor League Baseball front office experience to the Fisher Cats.
"This is an excellent opportunity to bring someone with many years of Minor League Baseball front office experience into our very talented management team," said Fisher Cats Owner Art Solomon. "We welcome Loren to the Fisher Cats' family and look forward to drawing upon his ideas to better serve our fans."
"Loren has done just about everything imaginable in this industry, and his addition makes us stronger as a staff in gearing up for the 2009 season," said Fisher Cats President Rick Brenner.

Foxx spent two seasons as the 66ers' General Manager. He previously served as the Director of Media Relations/Radio Broadcaster for the Kansas City T-Bones (Independent) from 2003 to 2006 and worked as the Manager of Media Relations/Radio Broadcaster for the Hagerstown Suns (Class-A South Atlantic League/San Francisco Giants) in 2003. Loren broke into baseball as an intern for the Mission Viejo Vigilantes (Independent) in 1998.
Foxx, a Newport Beach, CA, native, graduated from the University of Southern California in 1996 with dual degrees in Accounting and International Finance. Loren will be residing in Bedford, NH, with his family.
