Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
The Chattanooga Lookouts shut out the Blue Wahoos, 3-0 behind Julian Aguiar's seven strong innings. Tonight's outing was the longest of Aguiar's career.
In the first inning, Jacob Hurtubise kicked things off by getting hit by a pitch and advancing to third on a Blake Dunn single. The outfielder then scored on an Alex McGarry sacrifice fly.
Two innings later McGarry hit a line drive over the right field line to make 2-0. Rece Hinds followed up the homer with a single and then stole his 13th base of the year. Hinds then scored on a Michael Trautwein RBI double.
After Aguiar left the game, Ryan Meisinger came into the game and fired two shutout innings for his ninth save of the season.
Tomorrow, Tommy Stankwiewicz takes the bump for Chattanooga. First pitch is set for 7:15 p.m.
