Lookouts Plagued by HRs in 11-4 Defeat

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Chattanooga Lookouts dropped game three, 11-4, to the Biloxi Shuckers on Thursday night from AT&T Field.

Biloxi (28-30) got on the board first on a Gabe Holt RBI double and never looked back. The Shuckers tacked on one more in the third and three in the fifth before the Lookouts got on the board with a Francisco Urbaez home run in the bottom of the fifth.

TJ Hopkins hit his 10th home run of the season in the bottom of the eighth with a two-run shot over the left-field wall, but Chattanooga (31-29) could not add on anymore.

Carson Spiers (0-2) got the start and loss for the hosts pitching 5.2 innings giving up 10 hits, seven runs (six earned), and struck out five batters. Urbaez paced the offense with a 2-for-3 day with his home run and RBI.

Justin Bullock got the start for the Shuckers pitching three innings giving up just two hits with a walk and four strikeouts. Carlos Luna (1-4) got the win with five innings of relief work allowing four runs on six hits, and two walks while striking out eight. Holt led the way on offense with a 3-for-5 night with a pair of doubles and RBIs.

The two teams will be back in action on Friday night. Friday is Star Wars Night to benefit the Alzheimer's Association at AT&T Field. First pitch is set for 7:15 p.m.
