Lookouts Lose Game One in Jackson
August 30, 2018 - Southern League (SL1)
Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
The Lookouts used the home run to tie the game but couldn't add consecutive hits to overtake the Generals last night in their 2-1 loss. The home run that tied the game in the sixth came off of Mitchell Kranson's bat and was a no doubt round tripper. The biggest chance was in the first inning when the Looks left the bases loaded. Jorge Alcala avoided runs in three consecutive innings but finally was tagged with the losing run in the top of the seventh. In the last three innings the bats disappeared and only a walk would put a runner on. Game two has RHP-Tyler Wells matched up with RHP-Taylor Widener. Air time on 96.1 FM and at MiLB.com is set for 6:50 EDT.
