Lookouts Lose 9-3 in Rain-Shortened Game

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos defeated the Chattanooga Lookouts, 9-3 in a rain-shortened game at AT&T Field.
In the first, Pensacola raced out to a 7-0 lead. In that inning, the Blue Wahoos batted around and collected six hits. The away team added to their lead in the top of the second with two more runs to make it 9-1.
The game was called in the top of the eighth inning due to rain.
For the Lookouts, Jose Barrero led the way with two hits and a run driven in. On the pitching side, Miguel Figueroa was dominant in his relief appearance, striking out six and only allowing one hit in three innings.
Tomorrow, Conner Curlis takes the bump for Chattanooga on Chik-fil-A Wednesday. Game time is at 7:15 p.m. with gates set to open at 6:00 p.m.
