Chattanooga Lookouts News Release

The home crowd was in for a treat as Dodgers' top prospect Corey Seager made his Chattanooga debut for the Lookouts (10-19) against the Montgomery Biscuits (17-14) in a 9-2 loss at AT&T Field.

When asked in a pre-game conference what he would consider to be a nice home debut, Seager replied, "Hopefully, we can go out and win, have a good game and come out on a good note and a couple hits is always nice." The Lookouts weren't able to follow through on the first part of his answer, but the 20-year old was able to get the couple of hits that he wanted.

Seager led off the bottom of the second inning by smashing a double off of the left-center wall and moved to third on a fly out to right. Unfortunately, that was as far as he would get in that inning. He was able to make his way home in the 8th, however as he lined a one-out single to center. O'Koyea Dickson and Bobby Coyle then collected singles of their own to bring him around to score.

The other Lookouts' run of the game was scored in the fourth inning when Daniel Mayora doubled into the gap to plate Scott Schebler.

Tuesday night's matchup will feature Lookouts RHP Nick Struck (1-5, 7.29) against RHP Dylan Floro (8-8, 3.36) of the Biscuits. First pitch will be at 7:15 pm.

Notes: With his RBI in the fourth, Daniel Mayora broke a three-way tie for the most RBIs on the team at 50, moving him into sole possession of the lead at 51.
