September 20, 2021 - Pacific Coast League (PCL)
Salt Lake Bees News Release

The Salt Lake Bees pounded out three home runs, but Reno belted out four, as the Aces picked up a 13-8 win on Saturday night. Down 4-0, the Bees took the lead with six runs in the third on a two run homer by Brendon Davis, a solo shot by Matt Thaiss and a three run blast by Mitch Walding. Reno answered with five runs in the bottom of the third to take a 9-6 lead. Salt Lake would score two runs in the fifth on an RBI single by Jake Gatewood and a run scoring double by Walding, but that was as close as the Bees would get.

Salt Lake starter Thomas Pannone (5-11) took the loss, as he allowed nine runs on nine hits in two and one-third innings. Ben Rowen came out of the bullpen and retired all eleven batters he faced. Walding led the Bees with three hits, including a homer and two doubles, and four runs batted in. Davis' homer extended his hitting streak to eight games, but Preston Palmeiro had his ten game hitting streak come to an end.
