
Long Island Nets Waive Charlie Marquardt

LONG ISLAND - The Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, have requested waivers on guard Charlie Marquardt.
Marquardt was acquired from the available player pool on Feb. 21 to replace forward Akil Mitchell while he played with the Panama National Team. Mitchell will rejoin Long Island this week.
In four games for Long Island this season, Marquardt recorded averages of 2.5 points and 1.3 rebounds in 5.7 minutes per contest.
