LONG ISLAND - The Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, will host the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Friday, March 31, at noon at Nassau Coliseum.
The Nets will host the winner of the Cleveland Charge and Maine Celtics First Round game taking place on Wednesday, March 29, at the Portland Expo Building at 2 p.m. Long Island secured the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and earned a bye in the First Round of the NBA G League Playoffs Presented by Google Pixel after concluding the 2022-23 season with a 23-9 overall record, tied for the second-best record in the NBA G League this season.
This marks the team's third postseason appearance. Long Island was previously defeated by the Delaware Blue Coats in the First Round of the 2022 NBA G League Playoffs, and the Nets won the 2019 NBA G League Eastern Conference Championship after defeating the Lakeland Magic to advance to the NBA G League Finals.
The NBA G League Playoffs will begin Tuesday, March 28, with three single-elimination rounds and the two top seeds in each conference earning a bye into the Conference Semifinals. The playoffs will conclude with a best-of-three NBA G League Finals Presented by YouTube TV, which will be played in a one-one-one format.
