Quad Cities River Bandits News Release
River Bandits baseball at Modern Woodmen Park is already the most affordable ticket in town, and now fans can reserve their seats for the 2010 season for only $20.
"We take pride in offering a great deal of entertainment value while maintaining an extremely affordable product," said team owner Dave Heller. "Not only is it just $20 to guarantee the seat of your choice in 2010, but payment in full is not even due until next March! You won't find a better value proposition anywhere in the Quad Cities, especially with the popularity of our mini plans and full season tickets - both of which have seen dramatic increases in sales over the past two seasons."
The special, limited-time offer will run through the final regular season game on September 7. Over the next few weeks, season ticket and mini-plan holders can reserve their seats for the 2010 campaign for just a $20 deposit. Likewise, those interested in becoming new season ticket or mini-plan holders can lock in their spot for 2010 for the same price. Those who take advantage of the offer will also receive a free autographed item from a River Bandits player and an invitation to the post-season Select-A-Seat event to pick out the specific seat they want and take batting practice on the field at Modern Woodmen Park.
Fans can take advantage of this special offer by calling (563) 3-BANDIT, visiting the U.S. Bank Concierge Desk located behind Section 3 during remaining home games, or by stopping at Modern Woodmen Park during normal business hours while the team is on the road.
River Bandits season ticket holders are privy to a number of special perks, including a personal account representative, unbeatable ticket discounts, special merchandise discounts, and the most flexible ticket exchange policy in all of baseball that invites fans to exchange unused tickets for seats to a future game. Packages in 2010 will start with as little as seven-game plans, and once again will offer a variety of combinations designed to accommodate busy schedules without breaking the bank.
"We wanted to offer our fans a great deal before the end of the 2009 season to say thank you for another fantastic year," said Vice President and General Manager Kirk Goodman. "While there may only be a limited number of home games remaining, they feature a number of highly popular promotions that will draw some very big crowds. We want to reward those people for showing their support and giving us another spectacular year of River Bandits baseball. What better way to reward them then with a great deal?"
UP NEXT: The River Bandits continue their eight-game homestand with Rotary Night and $1 hot dogs on Monday thanks to Klement's Dollar Dog Night. An Economic Stimulus Tuesday follows with 2-for-1 tickets and a free meal for kids 12 and under, not to mention a Salute to the Mustache. After an off day on Wednesday, the action resumes on Thursday with a special appearance from entertainment act BirdZerk and $2 drink specials on a Thirst-day Thursday. The first 1,500 fans to Friday's game will take home a Rascal wind-up doll thanks to MidWestOne Bank and everybody will enjoy post-game fireworks. Saturday is Jimmy Buffett Night, as the River Bandits will wear special Hawaiian-style jerseys that will be auctioned off during an in-game silent auction to benefit Genesis Health System's Flu Free Quad Cities campaign. After the game, the Fry Daddies will hit the stage for a live concert. The homestand concludes on the final U.S. Bank Family Sunday of the year with a Tailz 'Er Waggin' Dog Day of Summer featuring a Dog House giveaway!
ABOUT THE BANDITS: The Quad Cities River Bandits drew more than 103,000 fans in the first half of the season for only the third time in team history. Ticket sales, concessions, merchandise sales, sponsorships and even Kids' Zone revenues are all up over last season, which was one of the team's best in history! Banditwear, mini-plans, and individual game tickets are on sale for the 2009 season by calling (563) 3-BANDIT or heading to www.RiverBandits.com. But hurry - good seats are going fast!
