
Local Goaltender Jaeden Nelson Commits to 67's

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's announced, today, that goaltender Jaeden Nelson has signed an Ontario Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement with the team.
"Jaeden is a goaltender that our scouts were excited to draft. He has followed up a strong U16 season with an excellent start in Junior A," said General Manager James Boyd. "We are pleased that Jaeden has committed to the 67's to continue his development."
Nelson, 16, was selected in the fourth round, 63rd overall, by Ottawa in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection. The Ottawa native is off to a terrific start with the Navan Grads (CCHL), this season; posting an 8-3-2 record, with a 2.61 goals against average, and .917 save percentage.
The 67's visit the Oshawa Generals on Friday night, before returning home to face those same Generals on Saturday afternoon, and host the Windsor Spitfires Sunday afternoon to close out the weekend.
