NASHVILLE, TENN. - The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club and Nashville-based Strategic Hospitality, responsible for The Band Box located within First Tennessee Park, are excited to announce an expansion to the space in partnership with the Nashville Sounds and OZ Arts Nashville. A 9-hole miniature golf course, affectionately called The Country Club at The Band Box, will double as a public art showcase and a fun form of entertainment in the right field.

Each hole in the course will exhibit different local or regional artists. The public/private partnership recognizes the importance of incorporating the arts into the community. Max Goldberg, co-owner of Strategic Hospitality and Tim Ozgener, President/CEO of OZ Arts Nashville, are both board members on the Arts and Business Council (ABC).

"The Band Box has been an incredible partnership and the opportunity to work with OZ Arts and the ABC on another project with the Nashville Sounds is such a great example of the public/private partnerships that Nashville does so well," said Max Goldberg. "We are thrilled to create this fun and cultural new element at The Band Box for Sounds fans to enjoy."

The Country Club at The Band Box will be located in the expanded Band Box area in the right field of First Tennessee Park. Strategic Hospitality will use local design firm Landy Gardner Interiors to design the space, and local artist Jeff Stamper in development of some holes. Construction is scheduled to begin within the next few weeks and is projected to open in the beginning of July.

The Nashville Sounds begin their season with their first home game at First Tennessee Park on April 7th. For tickets or other information about the team or ballpark, please call 615-690-HITS or visit www.nashvillesounds.com.
