
LIVETALK Player of the Week Nominations Due Today
December 9, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Los Angeles, CA. Derrick Pearson, host of ABA LIVETALK, reminds all teams and the public that all nominations for ABA "Players of the Week" need to be emailed today. This week will be the first week for dual winners, one from the East and one from the West, giving the league the chance to give credit to more players that have had exceptional weeks.
The award winners will be announced Saturday at 3pm on ABA LIVETALK which can be heard on www.abalive.com. Past winners include Chandler Thompson from Indiana, Randy Gill from Maryland, Charlie Jones from Strong Island, Tim Ellis from Bellevue, and Tim Hardaway from Florida. Nominations should be emailed to Derrick Pearson at abalivetalk@aol.com. Also the show will feature an Open Letter from Joe Newman, ABA CEO, about the ABA and some of the exciting things happening.
