(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club today announced that it has re-signed national linebacker Bo Lokombo.

Originally the club's third-round selection (21st overall) in the 2013 CFL Draft, the Abbotsford, BC resident and University of Oregon grad joined the Leos midway through the 2014 campaign seeing action in the final seven regular season games as well as the post-season.

Over the next two seasons ('15-'16), Lokombo (6'2", 225) excelled as a special teams ace and reserve linebacker recording 70 combined tackles and earned a West Division All-Star selection in 2015.

"Getting Bo back at this stage in our planning is a great addition to our roster," said GM Ed Hervey. "He's versatile, athletic and gives us some very valuable roster flexibility."

Following the 2016 season, Bo signed with the Baltimore Ravens and attended training camp with the club. He was a member of the team's practice roster before being waived in September last year and went on to make two more NFL stops in Oakland and San Francisco before becoming a free agent last week.
