B.C. Lions News Release

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club announced today that import defensive backs Terrail Lambert and Cord Parks have signed with the team.

Lambert is a three-year NFL veteran who was originally signed by the San Francisco 49'ers as an undrafted free agent in 2009. In early 2010, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts and was released during training camp before making stops in St. Louis, New Orleans and Oakland.

Following a freshman season in 2004 in which he did not play, Lambert enjoyed four productive campaigns at Notre Dame appearing in 49 games at cornerback. The California native recorded 69 career tackles and four interceptions for the Fighting Irish and also played a valuable role on special teams.

Parks spent time with four NFL squads after signing as an undrafted free agent with the St. Louis Rams in 2009. Spending a short time on the Rams' active roster, he appeared in two games that season but was claimed off waivers by Seattle Seahawks early on in 2010. After going to camp with the 'Hawks, he would eventually make stops in Minnesota and New Orleans over the next two years. Spending four standout years at Northeastern University, he notched 171 defensive tackles and two interceptions. The speedy defensive back also returned kicks during the 2006 and 2007 seasons. A gifted athlete, Cord was also a member of the school's track team, competing in the 100 m and 110 m hurdles and 4x100 relay.

Both Lambert and Parks will attend the club's mini-camp for first-year Leos slated for Kamloops from May 30 to June 1. The club's main training camp gets underway on Sunday, June 2.
