Lindow Nullifies Naturals in Road Win

Springdale, AR - Ethan Lindow dealt six innings of one-run ball and earned his first win with Arkansas as the Travelers beat the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 6-2 on Independence Day in the opener of a six game series. Lindow battled early baserunners getting out of a bases loaded situation in the first. Overall, Travs pitching forced the Naturals to leave the bases full three different times in the game including the seventh and eighth innings.

Moments That Mattered

* Arkansas struck for a pair in the first scoring on an infield hit by Isiah Gilliam and a throwing error on the back end of the play.

* Spencer Packard gave the Travs plenty of breathing room with a three-run home run in the eighth inning, his second homer in as many days.
