ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs return home for their first-ever home meeting with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at the BMO Harris Bank Center on Saturday, March 3. SATURDAY, MARCH 3 vs. WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON PENGUINS
Time: Puck drop is at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.
Autism Awareness Night: The IceHogs players along with their wives and girlfriends are helping raise awareness for autism with a "player-basket" fundraiser. As part of the initiative, IceHogs players have created goodie baskets that are filled with a variety of their favorite items, including hats, clothing, gift cards, food, drinks and signed memorabilia. The baskets will be available for purchase via silent auction on the main concourse during Saturday's game, with proceeds benefitting the Autism Program of Easterseals.
In addition, the IceHogs are selling "mystery pucks" throughout the evening's contest. Each puck is signed by a member of either the Rockford IceHogs or Chicago Blackhawks, including Jonathan Toews, Duncan Keith and Alex DeBrincat, and fans can snag a surprise signature with a purchase of one puck for $15 or two pucks for $25.
Cookie Cutter Giveaway: Be one of the first 1,500 fans in attendance to receive a free puzzle piece cookie cutter in support of autism awareness, courtesy of the Autism Program of Easterseals.
