
American Hockey League Announces Suspension
March 1, 2018 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that San Diego Gulls defenseman Korbinian Holzer has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game vs. San Antonio on Feb. 27.
Holzer was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 21.1 after being assessed a match penalty. He will miss San Diego's game Friday (Mar. 2) vs. Ontario.
