(POMONA, NY) - The 2015 Boulders Adult League of Kickball (B.A.L.K) is quickly approaching and limited spots are still available. The schedule is highlighted by a 20-team, double-elimination "Kick Breast Cancer" tournament presented by Bud Light on Saturday, October 3, to benefit The Center for Breast Health at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.

"The bad news is the Boulders don't play in October when we could really evoke the power and value of our brand in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness month to raise funds for this cause", said Ken Lehner, Rockland Boulders Team President. "However, the good news is we are going to leverage the success we have had with kickball and kick breast cancer that way instead."

The 2015 fall season includes four weeks of regular-season play, plus a two-week playoff. This season also features two different leagues, a Wednesday night league and a Thursday night league with 12 teams competing in each league. Each team will consist of 15 players with only 11 being allowed in the lineup at a given time and four of those players must be female.

Wednesday night games will begin on September 23 with the Thursday night league opening play on September 24. Playoffs will begin on October 21 and 22, respectively. The cost per team being $500 and includes a team shirt and vouchers to a 2016 Rockland Boulders home game. All players must sign-in prior to each game and receive a wristband to be eligible to play that night. Registration is still open by sliding to www.RocklandBoulders.com.

On Saturday, October 3, a 20-team, double-elimination style tournament will take place at Provident Bank Park. Sign-in will begin at 10:00 am with the first game being played at 11:00 am and the final championship game beginning at 11:00 pm if necessary. Registration is $100 per team and includes a pink, long-sleeve shirt plus vouchers to a 2016 Rockland Boulders home game. Proceeds from the event will go to benefit The Center for Breast Health at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. The day will include food and drink specials, plus live music, games, and prizes. To register for this benefit event, slide to www.RocklandBoulders.com.
