Rockford, IL. Lightning Head Coach Chris Daleo will head to the mound for the Rockford Riverhawks this Friday! The Bolt's Skipper has been warming up all week to throw out the first pitch of game at 6:30pm on July 23rd. "Last year I nipped the corner "Maddux-style," says Daleo, "This year, I'm breaking off some of my feared fork-ball!"
It's Rockford Lightning Night at Marinelli Field on Friday as the Riverhawks play host to the Gateway Grizzlies. The Hawks are two games ahead of their division rivals, the Grizzlies, for the lead in the Frontier League West.
Freddie Flash and Front Office Staff will be on hand to meet fans and hand out the 2004-2005 schedules. Coach Daleo's time in the game won't just be limited to the first pitch, tune into 102.3FM WRHL and listen to Coach Daleo help "call" a couple of innings with "the voice of the Riverhawks", Bill Czaja.
