On Tuesday, the New York Liberty (2-0) defeated the Indiana Fever (0-2), 102-66, in the second game of the 2024 regular season.
With tonight's victory, New York is on a seven-game win streak against the Fever, the longest win streak against Indiana in Liberty franchise history.
New York finished with 29 second-chance points in tonight's win after only scoring more than 20 second-chance points in one game last season. The Liberty's 29 second-chance points is tied for the most of any WNBA team so far in 2024 and would have been a season-high for New York in 2023.

Breanna Stewart scored 11 points in the first quarter on 5-7 shooting from the field for her 14th career double-digit quarter against the Fever, her most against any opponent.
The reigning MVP finished with a double-double of 31 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two blocks in the win, Two of Stewart's record-setting four 40-point games came against the Fever last season as she averaged 29.0 points per game against Indiana in 2023, the highest of any Fever opponent in 2023 and the third-highest scoring average against the Fever in Indiana's franchise history.
Betnijah Laney-Hamilton's +43 plus-minus set a new franchise record and ranked as the fifth-highest plus-minus in the WNBA since at least 2012.
Jonquel Jones posted a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds, including 3 offensive rebounds to move into the top-25 for career offensive rebounds in WNBA history.
Courtney Vandersloot tied for the game-high with six assists after averaging 11.0 assists per game against Indiana in 2023, the most of any Fever opponent.
Sabrina Ionescu scored 14 points to go along with seven rebounds and three assists. Ionescu hit two threes, extending her streak to 27 consecutive regular season games with a made three-pointer.
