The first-place IronPigs (55-37) begin a six-game, West Division road trip with the opener of a three-game series against the Columbus Clippers (49-43) at Huntington Park... With an 8-0 victory over Buffalo yesterday, the Pigs won their third-consecutive game to take the four-game, home series, 3-1. The surging Pigs, who set a season high-water mark at 18 games above .500, have won seven of their last eight contests and own a 26-11 record since June 3. Lehigh Valley maintained its franchise-record/season-high, 6.5-game lead over Scranton/WB in the IL North... The Clippers -- Cleveland's top affiliate -- won yesterday, 8-2, to sweep a four-game series at Louisville. Columbus has posted an 11-4 record since June 28 to set its season high-water mark of six games above. With a win tonight, the Clippers will own a season-high, five-game winning streak.

LHP Cole Irvin (8-3, 2.89) will start for LHV against RHP Shao Ching-Chiang (3-1, 5.46).

First-Pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m.

The Pigs continue to own the IL's best record, as they hold a 2.0-game lead on Durham (53-39)
