PEARL, MS -- Mississippi Braves LHP Ian Thomas has been transferred to Triple-A Gwinnett. No corresponding move was announced.
Thomas, 27, appeared in two games for the M-Braves. He recorded four strikeouts and did not allow a run in three innings of work. The southpaw began the 2014 season in Atlanta (1-2, 4.22) where he appeared in 16 games. Thomas also spent time at Triple-A Gwinnett (0-1, 3.95) and Double-A Mississippi (0-0, 5.40) last season. He signed as a free agent with the Atlanta Braves on May 21, 2012.
The Mississippi roster has 24 active players and 1 disabled.
