Potomac Nationals News Release

The Washington Nationals organization announced three roster moves today. LHP Danny Rosenbaum has been promoted from Hagerstown (Lo A - South Atlantic League), while LHP Evan Bronson, who was on the DL, has been sent to Hagerstown. Also, RHP Jesse Estrada has been granted his unconditional release.

Rosenbaum, the Nationals 22nd Round Selection in the 2009 Draft out of Xavier, was a SAL All-Star. He compiled a 2.32 ERA over 18 starts with the Suns. Over 110 innings, Rosenbaum walked only 28 batters while striking out 84. The groundball specialist has only yielded five home runs and has a 2.45 groundout-to-fly out ratio. He is set to start tonight against Salem.

Bronson was solid for the P-Nats this season with a 4.06 ERA in 20 games including 15 starts. He started the year in the bullpen but worked his way into the starting rotation. The 2009 Draftee is expected to join the Suns rotation.

Estrada was 3-2 with a 5.11 ERA. He made four starts as well as 18 relief appearances.
