Leveille Named to MLL All Star Team

Chicago Machine News Release


The 2006 MLL All Star Team has been announced and Machine attackman Kevin Leveille will join the All Star Team to challenge Team USA on Thursday, July 6, 2006. Face-off begins at 7:30 p.m. at Nickerson Field in Boston, Massachusetts.

This will be Leveille's second consecutive year playing on the MLL All Star Team. Kevin has accumulated ten points in the MLL season so far with the Chicago Machine and leads the team in goals (9).

"We are very proud Kevin will be representing Chicago at the 2006 All Star Game," stated Chicago Machine Head Coach Kevin Finneran. "He is a fantastic player and we're excited to have him play for the MLL All Star Team."

While Leveille joins the MLL All Star attack, Chicago Machine players Todd Rassas and Doug Shanahan will be playing for Team USA. This season, Doug Shanahan has tallied eleven points for the season with the Machine and proves to be a strong midfielder in both his offensive and defensive skills. Machine defender, Todd Rassas, will don the Team USA jersey with teammate Shanahan to take on the MLL All Star Team.
