Machine Back to Soldier Field Tomorrow

August 7, 2009 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL)
Chicago Machine News Release

The Chicago Machine will return to Soldier Field tomorrow, Saturday, August 8, for the final game of the season against the Long Island Lizards. The Lizards have plenty to play for - if they win the game, they advance to the Major League Lacrosse playoffs. If they lose then the Washington Bayhawks advance and the Lizards stay home. Besides possibly playing the role of spoiler, Chicago also has plenty to play for, not the least is pride before the home crowd.

You're already familiar with the legendary Soldier Field. What you might not know is that all seats for this game are in the lower bowl so you're getting a great view of this fantastic stadium and the hard-fought pro lacrosse game. And don't worry about the rain coming down in Chicago this afternoon. Tomorrow's weather will be great; warm but with breezes of lake Michigan and clear. Come out and support the home team, your Chicago Machine!

If you missed the home opener May 30 at Soldier Field, there is still time to get your tickets to the game, or there will be tickets available at the gate. Game time is at 7 pm Central time. Tickets are available by calling (312) 255-1522, or at TicketMaster.com (http://www.ticketmaster.com/Chicago-Machine-tickets/artist/1108880).
