(Chico, CA Aug 24th, 2010) The Chico Outlaws and St George Roadrunners have announced they will play double-headers at Nettleton Stadium on Thursday August 26th and Sunday August 29th. The double-headers are make-up games from an earlier series this year that was postponed.
Both Thursday and Sunday's double-headers will start with a 6:00 pm first pitch for game one; the nightcap will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
Chico and St George were scheduled to play a three-game series at the Nett August 3rd-5th; however, the Roadrunners ownership group folded and the team's day-to-day operations were taken over by the GBL. Travel issues due to the changeover prevented the series from being played.
The Outlaws begin the seven-game series with the St George Roadrunners starting Wednesday at the Nett. Kris Honel (7-2, 3.08) will start for Chico opposite right-hander David Liffers of the Roadrunners.
