
Let's Get Active: WNBA Celebrates National Girls and Women in Sports Day 2023

In celebration of the 37th anniversary of National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD), the WNBA and its teams will host the "Let's Get Active: WNBA NGWSD Recess Celebration" program, designed to encourage education and physical activity among youth.
The league and teams will provide opportunities in underserved communities to engage with WNBA players in an effort to help youngsters improve their fundamental basketball skills and realize their full potential. The WNBA aims to generate excitement around sports among young people and increase awareness for the league and its players.
Wilson Sporting Goods will provide basketballs during the team-hosted events to all youth participants.
