Leslie Joins Legends

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends announced today that forward CJ Leslie has joined the team. The Legends acquired Leslie's returning player rights in October in a trade with the Raptors 905.
Leslie (6-9, 205, NC State) played in Turkey last season averaging 18.6 points, 8.7 rebounds in 36 games and earning All-Turkish TBL Defensive Player of the Year, All-Imports Team, and Player of the Week (four times). The North Carolina native has played two seasons in the G League, most recently with the 905 in their 2016-17 Championship run. In 45 games with the 905, Leslie averaged 11.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and finished with 13.7 points, 5.8 rebounds in the playoffs.
