Leo Gibson Named to MASL Team of the Week

KANSAS CITY - The Major Arena Soccer League announced the Week Five Team of the Week this morning, headlined by Kansas City Comets forward Leo Gibson. This is Gibson's second Team of the Week honor of the season. Forward Anthony Grant was also named Honorable Mention for the award.
Gibson's Comets came into their game against their cross-state rivals badly in need of a win. Gibson did his part by scoring three goals for Kansas City, but helped his team along the way with three assists on top of that.
Grant added two goals to the mix, including his score in the 2nd quarter that put KC in the lead for the rest of the game.
The Kansas City Comets return home this weekend for the annual Military Appreciation Game on Sunday, January 6 at 4:05 p.m. CT.
