
Lemurs Win Series with 8-1 Game 4 Victory

AMARILLO, Texas - The AirHogs dropped their series finale to the Laredo Lemurs 8-1 Sunday in Amarillo. Cody Lenahan went deep for the 5th time since June 27th in the loss.
Cody Hebner started for the AirHogs. The righty surrendered 5 runs from the 2nd to the 4th, though just 2 were earned. The AirHogs committed 4 errors in the contest. Laredo starter Ryan Beckman went 7, surrendering 1 run on 6 hits. Lenahan tagged him for a solo homer in the 4th, his 2nd of the series and his 3rd of the homestand.
Zane Chavez golfed a 3-run blast of his own off Richard Suniga to put the game out of reach for the Lemurs in the 7th. The Lemurs also got a home run from former Cincinatti Red Denis Phipps in the contest.
The AirHogs (20-30) travel to Lincoln to battle the Saltdogs Monday. Tyler Harris is expected to start the 1st in the 3-game set. 1st pitch is slated for Monday at 6:35. A live radio broadcast will be available at mixlr.com/TXAirHogs.
