They produce two features, a short video conversation and a photo gallery from each stop, and are at work on a book about what the minors mean today.

The two will be at the Lexington Legends-Kannapolis Intimidators game tonight (Tuesday, July 10, 7:05 p.m.) Whitaker Bank Ballpark will be their 79th stop of the season.

Former Campbellsville University third baseman Chris Curley, a native of Fort Mitchell, is back in Kentucky as a member of the Kannapolis Intimidators, a class A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The Intimidators will play the Lexington Legends in a four-game series beginning tonight (Tuesday) at 7:05 p.m. at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. Wednesday's game begins at 12:05 p.m. Thursday and Friday night's games will begin at 7:05 .

One day after Curley was named to his second straight Frontier League All-Star game as a member of the Florence Freedom, his professional baseball contract was purchased by the White Sox Thursday, July 5, and he was assigned to Kannapolis.

Through 42 games this season, Curley led the Freedom, an independent club, with a .356 batting average, 44 RBIs and 10 home runs. He also led the team in runs scored (35) and doubles (12). Curley was playing with the Freedom in the Chicago suburb of Joliet, Ill., at the time of the purchase.

After three seasons at Campbellsville from 2007-2009, Curley signed with the Atlanta Braves organization as a non-drafted free agent in August 2009. He advanced to high A Myrtle Beach in 2010 before being released during extended spring training in 2011. He joined the Freedom in May 2011. While with the Atlanta organization in 2010, Curley played in Lexington against the Legends as a member of the Rome Braves.

At Campbellsville, Curley set career records for home runs (37), hits (219) and RBIS (163), while posting a career batting average of .386. He was named the Mid-South Conference Player of the Year and a Second Team NAIA All-American in 2009 after leading CU to the NAIA World Series with a .403 batting average and 19 home runs.
