LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Hickory's four-run 1st inning was enough to anchor the Crawdads' winning effort in their 5-4 victory over the BlueClaws Tuesday night.

He threw 36 pitches in the frame, but was able to power through five innings on 102 total pitches. He allowed five runs (two earned) in picking up his eighth loss of the season.
