Legends Partner with Strikz to Host "Get Your Bowl On" Tournament

July 1, 2020 - NBA G League (G League) - Texas Legends News Release

FRISCO, TX, - The Texas Legends have partnered with Strikz Entertainment to host an open bowling tournament through the month of July.

Fans are encouraged to go bowling at any venue in the DFW area and take a picture of their score. The grand prize - 4 tickets to a 2021 Mavericks game and complimentary bowling for up to 10 people at Strikz - will be awarded to the winner of a random drawing of all participants with a secondary prize - 4 tickets to a 2021 Mavericks game - awarded to the person with the highest score. Strikz will also be providing a $5 game card to each person that purchases bowling for the tournament and submits their score.

"We wanted to help Strikz find a creative way to announce they're open and people can go to bowl, play arcade games, laser tag, and more in a clean, responsible manner," said Legends President and General Manager Malcolm Farmer. "We're both in the business of providing fun family memories and this was an easy way for us to join together to do just that. I visited Strikz last week and they have set an incredibly high standard for cleaning protocols and social distancing - all in a fun environment."

Though bowling at Strikz is not required, it is rewarded with an automatic 10-point bonus. All scores are to be emailed to [email protected] by July 30 to be eligible.

"Strikz values the strong relationship we have with Malcolm and the whole Legends team. This is another example of the support the Legends provide for a small business such as Strikz," said Strikz Owner Neil Farren.

Strikz Entertainment is located at 8789 Lebanon Road in Frisco. The facility boasts over 43,000 square feet of fun including bowling, laser tag, and arcade games. For more information or to reserve a lane, visit www.strikz.com.
