Texas Legends News Release
Frisco, TX MAR. 29, 2012 - The Texas Legends find themselves in the same position as last night, falling to the Dakota Wizards by double-digits, 109-89.
Texas started strong, outscoring the Wizards by five in the first quarter, but Alando Tucker's team high 23 points wasn't enough to overcome the balanced Wizards attack.
Four players registered 18 points or more for Dakota, but it was Stefhon Hannah who was magical. Hannah was five of 10 from long range accumulating 27 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists, while collecting two steals on the defensive end.
Antonio Daniels had his best offensive output since March 1st, pouring in 18 points and dishing out eight assists for the game. The Legends struggled to control the boards, getting outrebounded by the Wizards 50-37 overall.
Texas also struggled from the field, making 40.0% for the night, shooting below 50.0% for the first time in four games.
After back to back losses, the Texas Legends (24-22) now find themselves looking up at the Iowa Energy (24-21) in the standings, falling out of the playoffs for the time being. Texas will have a chance to control their own fate as they face Iowa on Sunday at 3:00PM CST at Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco.
