DES MOINES, IA - The Texas Legends jumped out to a 31-15 lead and never looked back, beating the Iowa Energy 111-74 Friday night.
Texas extended their lead to 53-35 at halftime and followed that up by outscoring Iowa 33-17 in the 3rd quarter. The Legends made 11 of 23 three-pointers in the game and outrebounded Iowa 56-36 on the night.
Chris Douglas-Roberts led Texas with 23 points in the game while Christian Eyenga and Solomon Bozeman added 18 each in the game. The win moves Texas to 4-2 on the year and extends their winning streak to four games.
Ben Strong led Iowa with 12 points and 7 rebounds in the game. The loss drop the Energy to 1-3 on the season.
