Legends defeat Dragons twice
November 21, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Southern California Legends News Release
Los Angeles. The ABA SoCal Legends hosted its first two home games in the team's inaugural season against the Tijuana Dragones and both games were one-sided victories for the Legends. First 156-114 and then 158-88. It was a good opening for SoCal, not so good for Tijuana. But, as Andrew Ditto, Dragon's GM said, "It's a long season and we will be much better when all of our players arrive and start working together. SoCal took it to us. Next time, it will be different."
Legends' head coach/President Gary Grant commented, "We're getting better on the defensive end and we are looking forward to competing with the other teams. This was a good start for us and we know also that Tijuana will improve. Having five players in double figures showed some great balance too."
The next Legends home game is on Thursday, Dec 1 at the Felix Event Center at Azusa Pacific University. For more information, email infor@legendsbasketball.com or visit www.legendsbasketball.com or www.abalive.com. -
