Woodland Hills, CA. The So. California Legends ABA All Star Jerry Dupree has successfully signed a deal with Venezuela's pro basketball team in Caracaus. Jerry averaged 26 pts and 9 rebounds for the Legends. "We will miss him and I wish him all the luck," stated head coach/owner Gary Grant. "I knew he would get picked up; he deserved it. He was being scouted by several teams, it was a matter of time. This is what the players want and this is what the ABA is all about, going to the next level."

Grant added, "Jerry won't be able to make the ABA All Star Weekend, but Legends players Jimmy Miggins and Kenny Brunner are set and ready to go. I am proud of all my players and I hope great opportunities will come their way. Jimmy and Kenny deserve to be All Stars. Jimmy alone scored 37 points, his season high, in our last game against the Gallup Talons. We are excited for them, our entire coaching staff and their families are going to the All Star game to support them."
