
Lauren Chamberlain Appearing at Friday's T-Bones Game

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones have announced that Lauren Chamberlain, the all-time NCAA softball home run leader from the University of Oklahoma who's now playing professionally with the USSSA Pride, will be at CommunityAmerica Ballpark on Friday, May 13.
WHAT: Chamberlain will be throwing out a first pitch, signing autographs during the game, coaching first base for the T-Bones, and leading the crowd during the seventh-inning stretch. Chamberlain will be in Kansas City to help promote the inaugural World Fastpitch Championship that's coming to Kansas City during July 10-17. That event will feature 256 of the premier 12U-18U club fastpitch teams from all over the country as well as one team from Mexico. Included in that extravaganza, July 11-14, will be six National Pro Fastpitch games at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. Chamberlain's USSSA Pride team will be playing in four of the six games.
WHEN: Friday, May 13. The T-Bones are scheduled to play Winnipeg in an exhibition game at 7:05 p.m.
