HOUSTON --- Jon DiSalvatore scored twice, Marco Scandella registered three assists and Patrick O'Sullivan extended his scoring streak to a team season-high 10 games with an assist but the Houston Aeros fell 5-4 to the Abbotsford Heat on Sunday at Toyota Center.
Ales Kotalik scored the game-winning goal on the power play with 46 seconds left in the third period to seal the victory for the Heat.
The Aeros remain two points out of first place in the West Division behind the Milwaukee Admirals.
DiSalvatore tied the game twice for the Aeros, first at the 1:39 mark of the second period and again at 10:43. His second goal came via the power play and was his 20th of the season, marking his eighth consecutive 20-goal season as a pro. Marco Scandella assisted on both of DiSalvatore goals.
