San Angelo Colts News Release
San Angelo, Texas---The Colts added an infielder to their roster just before Monday night's game, signing Clint Stroud away from Las Cruces of the Pecos League. For the Vaqueros, Stroud was hitting .368 with 15 home runs and 54 runs batted in and was named a league all-star at the midway point.
Stroud started at third base for the Colts Monday night and went 1-2 in addition to handling a couple of tough plays at the hot corner.
To make room for Stroud on the roster, the Colts released right-handed pitcher Sean Keeler. Keeler was 1-0 with a 9.58 ERA in two starts for San Angelo. In 10 2/3 innings pitched, he allowed 18 hits, six walks and struck out three.
