
Lancers Travel up I-29 to Take on the High-Powered Fargo Force

OMAHA, NE. - The Lancers will travel to Fargo, North Dakota to take on a very impressive Fargo Force club. This will be the 104th and 105th all-time regular season meetings between these two clubs where the Lancers hold a 56-37-4-6 edge over the Force. The Lancers have also thoroughly outplayed Fargo in the month of February; holding an all-time record of 11-3-3-1. However, the Fargo Force have been dominant this season. So far this season the Fargo Force have had just one game registering less than 30 shots on goal. The Force have totaled 1,552 shots on net this season through 41 games played (37.85 shots per game).
OMAHA VS. FARGO SO FAR
This will be the first time since October that the Lancers will face-off with the Force, and it will be the first time since September that the Lancers will take on Fargo on the road. Special teams have played a crucial role in this western conference rivalry over the years where the Lancers hold the edge head-to-head with the Force in power-play goals; tallying 68 to Fargo's 62 all-time. On the flip side, the Fargo Force have outscored Omaha in short-handed markers all-time head-to-head, with Fargo hailing 21 short-handed tallies to Omaha's 14.
